Motel 6 San Simeon, CA - Hearst Castle Area

The room was very clean, and the ocean view was beautiful! I asked for extra blankets, pillows, and towels late at night and the staff was great and very accommodating, they delivered them to my door within minutes! The front desk was very friendly and made the check in and out process very easy. I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend to family and friends!

My friend likes to stay at Motel 6 for the pricing. Some things to consider for this property. Conveniently located right across from the ocean and walking distance from a few restaurants. If you have never stayed at Motel 6 beware. There is no ironing board, iron, blow dryer in the bathroom, no shampoo, conditioner. This Motel 6 was kept very clean and other customers very courteous. No slamming doors or late night fights in the hallway. This Motel 6 does not have a washer dryer. The front desk staff was very courteous. Fresh coffee in the morning at Lobby, a big plus. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked well. No weird noises or smells from the wallunit. Shower water pressure was good. There were times when the hot water was really hot randomly when showering. If you want room service ask when you check in. I would go back for another visit to this location. Clean and quiet. Dog friendly as well.

The hotel is located with nice location, good environment and friendly service. The staff was great. The receptionist was very helpful and answered all my questions. The rooms are clean and bright. Will be visiting again if I’m in the area!

We stayed there for 1 night, room is OK, kind of old but clean. Location is fine, not right on the beach but in walking distance. Hotel looks a little old, and there is a small outdoor swimming pool. Nothing really special, just a normal Motel 6 standard. Stuff is fine, service(if there is any) is acceptable. Overall it's safe and quiet.

be careful, the pictures show a microwave and fridge in all rooms, but that is not the case. the manager was very nice about it though and switched us to a room with microwave and fridge when i complained. the room is spaceous and clean, a good deal for the money. pool was great too.

Pretty clean room if I must say. The shower was a total game changer and the distance to the beach was perfect. Stayed a total of 3 nights and enjoyed the stay. With all the new regulations put on our hotel and motels I was surprised to find that they still had coffee in the lobby. Really great to have. I've stayed at this hotel a lot and every time it's been an exciting time

The room was spacious, excellent front desk service. Kinda wished they had more than hand soap, like shampoo or body wash included in the room. Still very nice location. And the pool was very clean. Would recommend to friends and family. :)

Clean room, wood floors, clean bathroom. This is better than I imagined it to be. There is an ice machine outside, free coffee in the office(mornings). Plenty of parking spots. Like one reviewer mentioned, I wish they had provided shampoo. Our room didn’t have a fridge/microwave but there are rooms with a fridge and microwave option. Close to the coast. Can taking evening walks along the coastal trails. The hotel also has a 10% discount coupon for food purchased San Simeon Beach Bar & Grill.
